I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer, designer, and producer. I am passionate about fostering human connection and encouraging introspection through sound. Music, to me, is alchemy and magic. It inspires, and can change hearts and minds. My dedication to this work is an important spiritual responsibility, requiring commitment to constant growth. I'm inspired by nerd culture, particularly anime; aspects of queer culture such as electronic music and the ballroom scene, and the Harlem Renaissance. My work reflects the beauty I see in the world, and my attempts to convey those concepts to others. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music from Cleveland State University, with a focus on Music of the Black Diaspora. My senior thesis centered around Hip-Hop as an extension of Black American Music's legacy, through sampling/references and the combination of electronic sounds with jazz instrumentation, complete with an hour long recital/lecture that became the foundation for my band, the Sound Experiment. I was selected to premiere an original song cycle at the Cleveland Uncommon Sound Festival (CUSP), alongside living composers from across the nation.
Over the years, I've utilized various forms of software to create fliers and advertisements for artists, events, and album artworks. I also have experience in photo editing and media writing.
